Hi,

Thanks for your bug report.

We should decide whether to resurrect that patch.

Thanks,

James

** Summary changed:

- Screenn resolution applet no longer ask if you wan't to keep new resolution
settings (Intrepid)
+ Screennresolution applet no longer ask if you wan't to keep new resolution
settings

** Description changed:

- Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
-
  In Hardy you got asked if you wanted to keep new settings. So if all
  displays went black, you could hit escape and get back. This was very
  useful with the buggy xrandr, cause my displays often get black, and now
  killing x is the only solution

** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided => Medium
       Status: New => Confirmed

** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu)
Sourcepackagename: xserver-xorg-video-intel => gnome-control-center
