Vincenzo Ciancia, reopening the bug in ekiga make sense because the problem is still not fixed. But, i don't how it's related with pwlib 1.10.10-2ubuntu3 which is not available at the moment. Maybe we should wait and see if this release fixes the problems for ekiga. The other thing you mentioned with skype, i can confirm and agree. Even it's closed source, it should be work with the webcams in the way it did in early ubuntu versions.
