** Attachment added: "Xorg.0.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18500781/Xorg.0.log
** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: screen-resolution-extra => gnome-control-center ** Description changed: When I launch gnome-display-properties (which is labeled 'Screen Resolution' in the System->Preferences menu and opens with a window - title 'Monitor Resolution Settings', three different names for the same + titled 'Monitor Resolution Settings', three different names for the same thing!), selecting a new resolution and clicking 'Apply' has no effect. I am using Intrepid with the latest updates. I believe I am using the open source 'ati' driver (but I'm not sure how to find out for sure since I don't have a xorg.conf file any more). I've attached my Xorg.0.log file (which seems to show 'radeon', 'ati' and 'vesa' drivers all being used) I only have this problem in Gnome, in xfce I can change resolution fine. -- Changing Resolution in Monitor Resolution Settings has no effect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/282739 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
