It seems to me that the Vinagre keyboard shortcuts should only work while the mouse / focus is on the Vinagre program itself, not on the remote screen. I just lost some work by pressing Ctrl-W, closing the whole screen session. Ctrl-W is a reflex, and it would take quite a while and more lost work to learn to press Ctrl-Alt before I press it every time (if that method works).
Failing that, I wish there was a way to change / eliminate all the keyboard shortcuts. I'd love to turn them off completely (except for F11, "fullscreen"), because I have no use for them, I only ever connect to one or two machines.
