I don't believe this is a duplicate of that other bug, the fans run at
FULL speed constantly as soon as you log in, but not at the gdm screen
and regardless of the cpu temperature or gpu temperature and has never
occured previously until I upgraded a few days ago, I have suffered from
excessive cpu temperatures on the laptop for a while, this one is new.
However since I upgraded the BIOS this bug no longer affects me.
