Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
If you attempt to copy a file to a disconnected network location, the copy operation gets stuck. To reproduce: 1) have a nautilus window open with an ssh:// connection to somewhere 2) leave it alone for a long time, until the ssh connection disconnects (bouncing the network or similar may have the same effect) 3) don't realise this has happened, and attempt to drag a local file to this ssh connection 4) watch the 'file operations' dialogue sit on 'Preparing to copy 1 file...' forever, and not be cancellable. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- if ssh:// connection gets lost, file copies get stuck https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/286321 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
