Dear Pedro, thank you for working on Ubuntu, which is great!
I now made some tests with the LIVE CD (beta), finally i skipped the virtual machine (guest additions failed:-( not really suprisingly), I used my ACER TM2250g laptop. Evince makes the same as in 8.04 LTS (if I chose the option 'collate' for printing) ...so again: last-page.first-copy on the same paper as first-page.second-copy. If the option 'collate' is not active it is even more interesting. While printing 2 copies of a 3 page document following happens: first-page on both sides of first paper, second-page on both sides on the second paper, etc. I made the same test for Ooo word processor, and it printed fine with the option 'collate' so it seems that the printer driver is OK. I also looked around in the bug list. Please have a look at bug #258364 "Evince incorrectly prints multiple copies as one job". It is maybe not the same, but the problem seems to have the same roots. I hope that helps. Have a nice evening György Pedro Villavicencio wrote: > If you can print with virtualbox, sure, why not. thanks for helping. > -- evince print problems for double sided, multiple copies https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/282659 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
