Public bug reported: Binary package hint: totem
Open Office 3.0 installs new packages (PYTHON) that BRAKE Youtube plugin in Totem: "ffdemux_swf: this element does not play the stream... blah blah". Shame as this plugin is the ONLY thing that actually does play flash smoothly. On Firefox and Opera I have terrible tearing and in full screen its only 5fps:( Really sad for me as I have to use Windows:( I got used to Ubuntu very much. PS. OO3.org icons are too big for the panel [they don't much the size of icons used in Gnome]. Love "&fmt=18" if you know what I mean (but currently only windows) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Oct 23 21:42:26 2008 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/totem-gstreamer Package: totem-gstreamer 2.22.1-0ubuntu2 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: totem Uname: Linux 2.6.24-19-generic i686 ** Affects: totem (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- open office 3 brakes packages/dependacies/plugins (python?) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/288329 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to totem in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
