Please give us a little more information.
Do you mean that the video file icons are not being set to thumbnails of
the movie they contain?
Do you have the correct video codecs installed? (Can you watch the
videos in Movie Player?)
In a Nautilus window, please select Edit->Preferences and select the
Preview tab. Make sure that the Other Previewable Files settings are
appropriate. For instance, "Show Thumbnails" should not be Never, and
"Only for files smaller than" should be larger than the size of the
video file you would like to see a preview for.
