Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm
The gdm login screen starts normally, but when I type my username and password, the letters are huge, they're large enough to not fit in the textbox. Logging in works though. I expected the letters to fit the textbox. I've found other instances of this online: http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/ubuntu-help/125958-huge-letters-my- login-window.html and http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=731527 , but no one seems to have reported the bug, so I have. This is a fresh installation of Ubuntu 8.10 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ apt-cache policy gdm gdm: Installed: 2.20.8-0ubuntu3 Candidate: 2.20.8-0ubuntu3 Version table: *** 2.20.8-0ubuntu3 0 500 http://tn.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Large letters for login (username and password) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/292174 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
