Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

The gdm login screen starts normally, but when I type my username and password,
the letters are huge, they're large enough to not fit in the textbox. Logging
in works though.
I expected the letters to fit the textbox.

I've found other instances of this online:
http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/ubuntu-help/125958-huge-letters-my-
login-window.html and http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=731527 ,
but no one seems to have reported the bug, so I have.

This is a fresh installation of Ubuntu 8.10
