Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: epiphany-browser

I'm not 100% percent sure that this is the correct place to file this
bug, since I'm not sure how 'Preferred Applications' goes about
determining which applications get listed - maybe the .desktop file?

After installing Epiphany (Just in case its relevant I actually
installed the webkit package, then removed it and installed the gecko
version) the Preferred Application's Web Browser field still does not
show Epiphany as an option.

Ubuntu 8.10 clean install.

** Affects: epiphany-browser (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
