As of today, November 7th, 2008, I have been experiencing this bug for four days now. I am running Ubuntu 8.10 (amd64) and the current kernel (2.6.27-7-generic). My graphics hardware is a nVidia GeForce 8600 GT running version 177 of the nVidia binary driver. I also have a dual monitor setup with a 1280x1024 monitor on the left of a 1440x900 monitor, and I am using xinearama.
I am not certain as to what has started this bug however it seems to be happening over a wide range of Ubuntu systems (7.10 through 8.10). In addition to the description reported by others experiencing this issue I would like to note that the other hotkeys for totem still work. Also running totem from the command line yields one bit of relevant output that I think may help tracedown the root cause of this bug. I get the following warning: ** (totem:10025): CRITICAL **: bacon_video_widget_set_fullscreen: assertion `bvw != NULL' failed -- totem can't leave fullscreen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197038 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
