Hi, i've got this issue in some different machines. on the first machine: 1- ubuntu 5.04 upgraded to 5.10 then upgraded to kubuntu (here was the first problem with firefox homepage) i tracked down and it was a bad link...
on the second machine, started as ubuntu 5.10 upgraded to kubuntu same problem as before on my laptop, started as 5.04 then kubuntu 5.10 (the problem appeared), then dapper 6.06 and the problem appeared again, i tracked down and post the bug. sorry i didn't report it before. in all the cases it has something to do with a bad symlink or bad path.
