Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
Is it just me, or is it complete usability madness to allow moving the scrollbar to the left side of the window? Also, allowing to disable it altogether seems equally non-standard. What is the rationale for this behaviour? My suggestion is to put the scrollbar on the right side, and removing all such preferences. And it should only be visible when needed, as in most other text fields in most other applications. ** Affects: gnome-terminal Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: GNOME Bug Tracker #560923 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=560923 ** Also affects: gnome-terminal via http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=560923 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- Remove preferences for scrollbar placement and/or disabling https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/298397 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
