I'm fully agree with A. Walton. A. Walton, If I correctly understand, your patch allows to Nautilus to "run" plugins without to have being restarted... and to add a plugin and use it, we will just need to write a file in the special Nautilus plugin directory. If that's the case, I find your patch, in principle, fully OK : that seems to be for me the best solution ; but what says the Nautilus dev. team about it ? Do we have a chance to see it, or something similar, integrated in the Nautilus trunk ? Do you are in touch with them ? or maybe part of them ?
