Jixop: Yeah. The bugs that this has been marked duplicate of seems to
have in common only the word "erratic" which, I guess, kind of has a
little to do with this. But I am experiencing none of the behavior
described in the other bugs; except of course the passing-by-mentioning
of my behavior in #158590, which naturally leads me to believe the bugs
are separate, but that the other reporters are experiencing multiple
bugs and I just the channel separation one.

I'm neither experiencing anything you described except for separation of
the channel lock, upon which the locking icon turns into the 'unlinked'
icon and remains as such. Mine never rejoin. Not to say it couldn't be
related, just saying it might also be a separate issue.

The fact that it happens less with Capture Mux might be because you're
not using the Capture Mux when you try it (if I even understand what
Capture Mux is), but you are using PCM/Master/etc when you try it. As I
recall, the sliders are more inclined to separate when the sound module
they control is being used at the moment.
