I just noticed, when I hit ctrl + D at the bottom it says "Bit editor activated. Click on bit values to toggle them" and if I haven't added anything you can click and toggle them. I'm not sure what this purpose is but apparently it IS a feature...I think it just needs to be more clear on how to turn it on/off and what it's actually used for.
