Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
Noticing a great number of problems when doing lots of work with podcasts. (I'm currently subscribed to 54 of them.) If I play a podcast and proceed to add and delete episodes of other podcasts, Rhythmbox almost always crashes on me with a "Segmentation Fault," "Aborted," or some similar complaint. In addition, when downloading these many podcasts hourly, Rhythmbox seems to utilize gvfsd-http, which proceeds to create a memory leak which eventually consumes all 2 GB of memory and most of swap, which will crash my workstation if I don't kill the gvfsd-http process regularly. Further certain podcasts (i.e. http://speakingoffaith.org/podcast/podcast.xml) which download gracefully in almost any other podcast program (i.e. Juice, iTunes).
