Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

I am on a relatively clean Intrepid installation (installed from scratch 1
month ago).
I am using a Dell desktop computer, with a multimedia keyboard.

Rhythmbox freezes very often when, while its windows has focus, I use my
keyboard's sound volume wheel. Usually, many other GTK applications I've
open freeze as well. I use a Qt editor and it seems unaffected. Firefox
also freezes less often than other apps.

This only happens with accessibility enabled.

How to reproduce:
 - enable accessibility, logout and login.
 - start rhythmbox (optionally start some other gtk app)
 - bring rhythmbox windows on focus
 - turn your volume wheel one way or another for 1-2 secs.
(note: crashes very often just adjusting the volume slightly, overloading is
just a way to reproduce the bug)

Expect behaviour:
  - sound volume change immediately without affecting other apps

What happens:
  - Rhythmbox freezes.
  - 1 or 2 other apps you have open freeze.

What to do when that happens:
 - wait. After a minute or two, your computer will eventually catchup

Output on console:
 - None

To be honest, I am not sure if it's only rhythmbox fault. I generally
feel gnome much less stable with accessibility turned on.

** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
