Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better, but unfortunately I've been unable to duplicate this bug. I've tried this with WAV, MP3 and OGG files. Is there any output if you launch brasero from a terminal? Applications will some times give better error messages when launched from a terminal. If you can reproduce this crash, and post anything that is displayed in the terminal that might help.
