The wiki page https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingACPI has some information about what is needed for ACPI related bugs. I attach mine for the Thinkpad X61 Tablet. Since I'm running from a LiveCD I cannot reboot and then attach kern.log.0, so I'm rather attaching kern.log from the current session.
