Hi,

I have an update for you. This morning I was sent an ".asf" file and
tried to play it using Totem Movie Player and then Gstreamer. It only
temporarily brought up the file and then the screen disappeared. So it
did not play the audio or video at all.

Hope that helps.

Thank you very much.

Player the sound worked but not the video

Hi,

Thank you for your response.

As of now I have not tried this under any other video formats other than
'.wmv" under Ubuntu.

If there are any other files you would like me to try it with please
forward them and I will test them out.

Thanks again for your response.
