Hi, I turned off compiz off and yes it does stop the flicker. I have an ATI Radeon Mobility HD 2600 XT running on the Catalyst version 8.53, 2d driver version 8.56.4, catalyst control center version 2.3, opengl version 2.1.8304. I enjoy using Compiz and if possible would prefer to run it.... So hopefully you can help me out with this.
