Steps to reproduce: 1. Mount CIFS resource on a local folder via fstab or manualy on a Windows server machine which contains many files, 1000 or more
2. Double click on mounted media (via show mounted volumes on desktop or Nautilus himself) 3. Go make a coffie untill just the content is parsed (not the thumbnails) in mean time, all mounted media will disapear from your desktop if you have more of them. Actual results: System enters in Idle mode while Nautilus tries to parse the content from server and this can take more than 10 seconds, depending how many files are on the other side what you are accesing Expected results: Nautilus should instantly parse the content then start feeding local client with thumbnails -- Nautilus & CIFS mount with many files in a folder takes very long parse time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/315273 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
