Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: file-roller

Hello,
some information first (sorry, German packages).

lsb_release -rd:
####
Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1
Release: 8.04

apt-cache policy:
####
  Installiert:2.22.3-0ubuntu1
  Mögliche Pakete:2.22.3-0ubuntu1
  Versions-Tabelle:
 *** 2.22.3-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     2.22.2-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages

When I want to extract a file or a folder from an archive, I usually click on
"Extract" and choose a folder where I want the archive contents to be extracted
to.
This works in general, but it seems like it is only working, if one chooses the
opposite "Re-create folders" checkbox state that was used the last time.

Also, this seems to be independent of either the program is closed and
started again or the same instance is used.

You will find a video of that bug here (about 700kb, .ogg):
http://www.sendspace.com/file/ns0d1m (also attached)

I can live with that, it works if I always choose the opposite of what was
checked the last time, but maybe this report helps to improve further versions
of file-roller.
Anyway, thanks for the support :-)
