Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
I am using emacs for editing a TeX-file. I use evince to view the resulting dvi-file. Whenever I run LaTeX on the TeX-file from emacs, evince takes the focus and gets "on top" of emacs, so I can't see what I'm writing. I the taskbar, emacs is still marked as the active programme. This annoying problem started after I upgraded from Ubuntu 8.04 to 8.10. If you solve this problem, I would like to be informed (mgr at imf au dk) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evince Package: evince 2.24.1-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games LANG=da_DK.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: evince Uname: Linux 2.6.27-9-generic i686 ** Affects: evince (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- Document Viewer 2.24.1 takes the focus, if the viewed document is being altered https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/318859 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
