Binary package hint: yelp
Ubuntu 9.04, upgraded from 8.10, has severe Audio problems.
Sound recorder has no Audio when playback.
ZynAddSubFX Synthesizer has no Sound.
Skype displays a window "Problem with Audio Playback".
I am not aware if any other application with Audio is also in trouble.
