It seems that this problem is specific to LiveCD sessions. I have had Jaunty installed on my Thinkpad since the end of January with suspend and resume working fine. I just tested the alpha-4 LiveCD on both the Thinkpad and the Compaq nx7400, and the problem still persists. The bug may be in gnome-screensaver, so I'm adding this package.
On alpha-4 I don't need to remove any boot options anymore to get a virtual terminal (this was another bug which is now fixed). ** Also affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [i965, Jaunty] Hung screensaver after resume from suspend (LiveCD only) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/311362 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-screensaver in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
