Thanks for the provided info.
I hereby confirm this bug since I'm able to reproduce it now. It is possible to 
"Empty Trash", but "Delete from Trash" doesn't work, see description below.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a plain text file on the desktop, call it e.g. "test.txt" (without 
quotes). Write whatever you like in it.
2. Right click on the desktop, choose "Make Link". It will create a link named 
"link to test.txt".
3. Move the file "test.txt" to the Trash and empty the Trash.
4. Now move the broken link "link to test.txt" to the Trash. Open the Trash, 
right click the link and select "Delete from Trash". The file will remain in 
the Trash. Deleting this broken link is only possible with File > Empty Trash 
or choosing Empty Trash after right clicking on the Trash icon.
