btw: confirmed with my installation of ubuntu 8.10 x64 with a Brother HL 5250 DN (= Postscript 3 printer) connected over the LAN here. Printing takes imensively long to start and then prints the pages one by one (printer seems to recieve the next page only on completion of the last one), or does not start at all - the printer queue does not even show up.
bug seems to be related to libpoppler, as printing is also extremely slow with the ePdfViewer which also uses the same lib.
