Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xchat-gnome
Hilighting a word in the xchat-gnome main chat window brings up a context menu with only one item: "Copy". I would like to see integration to other GNOME applications, offering items such as "Lookup in dictionary" and "Search for word in the Web". The latter could use either your Epiphany smart bookmarks, your Firefox search plugins, or just make a simple Google query. For a good implementation of this functionality, see Gajim. I am using Ubuntu 8.10 and xchat-gnome 0.24 ** Affects: xchat-gnome (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Integrate xchat-gnome with gnome-dictionary and Web browser for looking up words https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/338699 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to xchat-gnome in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
