The ISO 9660 Romeo CD Format has the advantage that it supports file- and directorynames up to 128 charakters and it's more interoperable with the Windows world in contrast to UDF, there you need a driver or you even can't read. It was developed by Adaptec. In the Windows-world a Romeo-disk (CD and DVD) can be made with the NTI CD/DVD Maker. A DVD made with the NTI program had only low-case characters and special characters are totally not displayed because it's not based on Unicode. Does a linux-burn-program support Joliet Extended with 110 characters? There are the limits? http://en.kioskea.net/contents/pc/cdrom.php3 http://www.cdrfaq.org/faq03.html#S3-5-5 ** Affects: brasero (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- better support for ISO 9660 Level 2 Romeo https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/338779 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
