Binary package hint: totem
For what it's worth, I have a bog-standard Ubuntu (Ibex) install, but
the Totem player has yet to actually play any video in any email I've
received. The WMV files hang the player, and the one .mpeg file I've
tried (as described in the report) showed only a black screen, while the
audio worked fine.
