Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution
Even though I have made the experience that reporting Evolution bugs is of absolutely no avail, I am reporting another one. Yes, I AM one of those people who HAVE TO work with an MS Exchange server in their company and who cannot regularly use Ubuntu because the Evolution OWA connector behaves so EXTREMELY crappy here and this has been like that for a year and throughout three Ubuntu versions with no change. Tried to read my email with Evolution. After a few minutes the usual bug occured which makes Evolution unusuable here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution- exchange/+bug/119886. I restarted Evolution, read a few emails and the tried to look into the calendar. There was a little notification line in the bottom left of the Evolution calendar window telling me that there is a problem with the calendar. Clicking on that notification, Evolution tells me: ---- Die Evolution-Kalender wurden unerwartet beendet. Ihre Kalender sind nicht verfügbar, solange Evolution nicht neu gestartet wurde. ---- Don't know if this is connected with this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/342218. That bug seems slightly different to me. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Jaunty: Evolution calendar crashes by no obvious reason https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/343560 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
