I have come across this three times in the past month in Launchpad Answers and on the Ubuntu-Users list.
I have encouraged these users to file bug reports; however, it seems the outcome for most of these people is to simply change to another application (because it is the easiest course of action). The only bug that I can see in Gnome's bug tracking system, upstream, is the bug linked above. However, is anyone working on this upstream definitively or is more information needed?
