You have been subscribed to a public bug: On a clean install of Jaunty Alpha 6, upon login the gnome-panel is frozen, it appears correctly most of the time but sometimes is just completely white. I first tried to move it and interact with the panel to no avail, I then tried alt+F2 which was also non-responsive. As I could not use the panel, I had to create a launcher on the desktop to get a gnome-terminal up. the command
killall gnome-panel
fixes the problem for that session, if I log out then back in its fine, but if i reboot i have to kill the panels again. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gnome-panel non-responsive on login https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/351300 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
