Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: notification-daemon
Preferences set in gconf by hand or by notification-properties do not
get respected by the new notification daemon.
System details:
Arch: x86_64
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.04 beta
Compiz: enabled
Specifically, the popup_location key in /apps/notification-daemon does
not get respected. It is set to "bottom_right" at the moment, however
the notifications are still appearing as if popup_location was set to
"top_right".
I tried restarting my session after making a change, and the
notification daemon still acts the way it did before.
Any other information you need, don't hesitate to ask!
