Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-applets
Jaunty beta. The location name in the clock applet preferences are selected with an auto completion list, which knows only english names of locations. My town is listed as Genoa, Italy (in english), and if I write Genova I won't ever find it. I was entering Genova, and saving location name => result: no wheather. It isn't possible that an italian user must know english in order to see his/her town wheather. The location list must be localized according to default language. ** Affects: gnome-applets (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- clock applet: location names should be presented in default language, not in english https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/356245 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-applets in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
