My background has been replaced with a entirely black screen. The taskbar is still there, so I am still able to launch programs, but not create shortcuts. Rebooting does not fix this. I am using Ubuntu 9.04 beta Version of nautilus: 1:2.26.1-0ubuntu1 + + Update: After four reboots my background returned, but not the files.
