Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-nettool
I've asked aussiebroadband for a email to be ch...@aussiebroadband to be able to use with ubuntu. The internet connection test has failed to recognise my ethernet card correctly as I am connected via the ethernet card via satellite connection. My windows xp connection is ISP:aussiebroadband.com.au my email for that is chri...@aussiebroadband.com.au & works but not via ubuntu to access the email working I have to exit ubuntu then logon to windows xp then login to aussiebroadband account then my web mail account which is chri...@aussiebroadband.com.au they tell me I do not need to open another account just for upgrading my operating system so am wanting to use ubuntu but if emails don't work what good is it? I've been trying since yesterday morning very very early & alll day today. Am currently using & logged on to ubuntu 8.04lts ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Fri Apr 17 12:52:34 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.04 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-nettool Package: gnome-nettool 2.22.0-0ubuntu2 PackageArchitecture: i386 ProcEnviron: PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games LANG=en_AU.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: gnome-nettool Uname: Linux 2.6.24-24-generic i686 ** Affects: gnome-nettool (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug -- upgraded to ubuntu 8.04lts since no email works https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/362694 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-nettool in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
