Public bug reported: g-v-m version 2.24.0-0ubuntu1 Ubuntu 9.04 Dell Inspiron 1520
What happens: If I mute the volume, and then an event that causes a sound to be played occurs, a static/cracking sound is produced. What should happen: Muting the volume should cause the speakers to produce no sound. This appears to affect all applications, and regardless if I use ALSA or PulseAudio. If there is anymore information I can provide, I would be happy to do so. ** Affects: gnome-volume-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Static/cracking/distortion heard when sound is muted https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/368380 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-volume-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
