Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

Two problems after recent update 2.26.1
Ubuntu 9.04 - the Jaunty Jackalope - released in April 2009.

Evolution was set to work off line mode. Dumb, needs to be fixed. How
many marginally savvy users will be spinning their wheels on this one??

Updated version appears to be heavy handed when deciding what goes in
JUNK. Just about every email is being sent to the Junk box...?? This
again "appeared" after the update.
