In my account, GTK applications launch with no menu at the top. If I change to my 'ubuntu' guest account, they appear again. I am unsure when this happened, but it survived two reboots. I noticed it first when trying to use GIMP, then noticed the pattern - it is the same with Gwibber and Pidgin (though Firefox and Opera browsers are fine, there's no menu in Epiphany) I am using Jaunty 9.04, gnome desktop. KDE applications look normal. ** Affects: gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- I have NO MENU IN GTK APPLICATIONS https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/380543 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
