Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I have an Ubuntu 9.04 on my laptop Acer Aspire 5310 with Intel GMA950 video adapter. Since I've upgraded from Ubunut 8.04.2 то 9.04 I've found a bug: Displays backlight adjustments doesn't works correct when the 'gnome-power-manager' is running. When I'm pressing 'FN' + 'Brightest up/down' keys backlight goes blinking and I can't adjust brightest as I want. If the 'gnome-power-manager' is not running this bug doesn't appear. But I want normal power management on my laptop, so I can't turn it off. ** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: acer backlights bug laptop ** Tags added: backlights ** Tags added: acer bug laptop -- notebook backlight adjustments bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/383845 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
