I want to mention, that you can rename a marked file by pressing F2! This is very useful, because you have to use your keyboard anyway. So pressing F2 at first is no big deal.
But nobody knows that, or do you? My suggestion to make this bug fit into "One Hundred Papercuts" is to add a hint for this shortcut to the right-click menu. Instead of: "Rename..." it can be written: "Rename...
