First of all, I changed system language from german to english to reproduce the problem. But the problem as descriped above does not appear. I don't know why. So I'm not sure if you are able to reproduce it in other languages. However, it is probably a problem in the german language translation.
OK. I try to write down in a few steps: - Start OpenOffice-Writer or Calc and totem (in german Gnome desktop). - In Totem play any audio file like MP3, internet radio - Than open in Totem „Preferences“ and than go to the flag "Display". Check if you have marked the option "Allow the screensaver to activate even....". If yes uncheck this option. Change to OpenOffice, than after a few seconds the menue "Files" opens spontaniously without any mouse or keyboard activity. If you like I can upload a screenshot (250 kb). I did do because I don't want to overstress the server capacity -- Menue "File" opens unexpected in Writer https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/374246 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
