I am not sure. It is definitively quicker than the described way to set an 
emblem.  However, I think it is not very intuitive.

Please don't think of my original post as bug or problem. It is a
suggestion to improve Ubuntu/Nautilus. Since it is just my opinion, I
think, we should let the report opened for the moment, for further
discussion.
