Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evince
There's no key binding for back and forward mechanism; there isn't a menu item either. The only way to access it is to have the button placed on the toolbar. Usually, on wide-screen machines, people hide toolbars and such to maximize vertical space. Also, the ubiquitous keyboard bindings for back and forward is Alt+Left and Alt+Right (say, in Adobe reader). But in Evince this is assigned to rotating pages. Given that the latter is a least-used functionality, no only it's a wastage of key binding, but also does it cause confusion for users migrating from common programs like Adobe reader. ** Affects: evince (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: back evince forward keybinding ** Tags added: back evince forward keybinding -- Key bindng for Back and Forward functionality https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/398816 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evince in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
