It took you guys 5 months to respond to this bug to ask me how to reproduce
it? even though i specifically asked

   Could someone tell me what information to supply // how to supply it for
when I return to my apartment?

It would have been a lot more relevant to ask for more information 5 months
ago.

   boot the computer
   log in
   system->preferences->screen saver

   Rapidly choose different screen savers

   This crashed Gnome every time on my core2quad & NVidea system

those are the exact steps. I gave them to you in my first bug report.

obviously my expectation was that all my programs not die and for me to not
be returned to the login screen. If you know of someone who would disagree
with me, I would greatly like to learn their perspective.

I have supplied what you asked for, all three of the minimum pieces.

If this is a bug that others don't encounter, than perhaps my hardware is
fucked. Perhaps it was simply an artefact of my install disk being
scratched. I dont know. I've subsequently disabled the screensaver, and have
reinstalled many dozen times.
