Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel
If i set the gnome-panel configuration to be transparent, it resets to default after i logout and log back in or after a reboot. 1)right-clicking on gnome-panel, 2)Select properties from the dropdown menu 3)click on the background tab 4)select "solid color" 5)move the slider to the left for transparent 6)close the window, gnome-panel should now be correctly transparent 7)logout or reboot 8)login 9)watch gnome-panel use the default settings. I expect gnome-panel to remember the settings i used last and load them upon login ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Aug 18 14:43:19 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: gnome-panel 1:2.27.4-0ubuntu6 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-6.25-generic SourcePackage: gnome-panel Uname: Linux 2.6.31-6-generic i686 ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- [Karmic] gnome-panel forgets configuration on logout https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/415549 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
